A perfect way to try to describe what is the most gut-wrenching of human frailties.  War.
i feel you deep down in my soul.  Thank you halo.  You speak for many.

Sounds like a wonderful day Halo!  My Mother's Day was mixed.  My children were all there for me with love and support.   We were there for each other as we spent the day in the hospital with my mother.

Aw yes, peeping through the window of the past can conjure up a cauldron of emotions,
faded dreams, and night wind cries.  But as long as the good out weigh the bad experiences
then we are in the bubble.  I am proud of you Halo that you keep writing.

And sometimes memories will not be ignored.  :wine

Wars are created by those that never fight and just reap the harvest of money it creates for them
at the expense of human suffering and death.  I feel your pain Halo.

So true Weave, and I doubt we've seen the last of war. :(

Hope everyone had a good mother's day.  Any poems, or special thoughts you'd like to share?

I write poetry in my head, but it dissipates as my mind churns with thoughts of my mom, and life in general.  Each day brings more health issues, and more poems that never make it to pen and paper, or fingers to keyboard.  I'm wondering if I'll get to take her home, and how much I seem to be aging along with her.  Poetry in motion,  heading in the opposite direction, to places that jumble in my head.   Some day, these thoughts will make it to paper, but not today.
