I saw this orchid at a nursery...took the picture and just had to take it home with me! Contrary to common believe this is an orchid from high up the mountains and requires cold day temperatures and even cooler nights. So it was quite a challenge for me to keep it healthy but it awarded my good care with some flowers a few years in succession.
No, orchids are not my business, unfortunately I may add. But there is already too much orchids nursery overhere in The Netherlands. But I consider myself a real orchid lover and try to bring the fun, beauty and love for orchids to others when and where ever I can. So this is a real good place doing that, so much people liking my posts
