I had to add this so that others may see it. They may want to write a haiku.  Witt

The image was certainly worth opening up...beautiful tree. Your Haiku does it justice. :)

I am quite proud of this picture(if I may say so myself) it recently won second price at the
"Winter on Fire" Photo Competition for our local newspaper... *party*

Congratulations!!!

I have seen some spectacular dawns lately. They say "Red sky at morning, sailors take warning," but it just turns out to be a beautiful day, so that old saying isn't necessarily true.

Thanks witt !

I know what you mean. Overhere I am on a 365 project and make a picture from my bedroom window
of cloud formations and sunsets to see after a year how it changes through the seasons.

The saying here is "Avondrood, water in de sloot!"  *hehe*  And if you try to say those words I would
strongly advise you not to do so in public, as I think some eyebrows would be raised at you :tongue

Anyways...translated it means "Firey Sunset, rain in the morning" Something that barely, if ever is true in my experience...
