Good idea. This is like the quatrain game or haiku tag, but you have more leeway to write in any form.

Enshrouded in fog
Shadowy fingers reach
Grasping for a handhold
One touch is needed
To save me from
Falling away into pallor

Next Word:
magic

Each day blossoms
With majestic rays of sunshine
Ponderous clouds,cooling rains.
Fog shrouded mountains,
Dry dusty plains.

We daily bare witness
To such blessings
Tweaking our lives
With its glorious magic.

Why this Day?

Would Never Be
Were it Not for our
Fight for Liberty.

Sentries stand in stolid silence
As children play in front of them.
Parents, brothers, sisters
All standing with faces grim.

A scene repeated all too often
And to some, oftener still.
May hardened hearts soften
And soft hearts gain the will.

Lest we continue to visit
And trace names from the Wall
Against evil let us stand vigil
Or God help us all.

Friend, I think you should post this in one of the main sections, and free stand it, so more people can see it.

Oh, and needless to say, I like it too!!!

Thank you for the suggestion and compliment,Allen, and so I shall.
I'll Take your and Witt's advice and post it in the Political & Social forum entitled 'Vigil'.

Actually I'm opened for suggestions on the title, but will use that for lack of a better one right now.

What's wrong with "Vigil"?
