I've taken my pills
I'm now real slow
My heart does yield
but I can barely go.

Well, it sure has been a long time since anyone played this game. Maybe it was the word that I left to work with.
I came upon a sweet cherry tree
I picked a bucket full
Enough to share with family
Way too much for me.

Oh, lamented loss of follicle!
Weep not, my sweet bald eagle.
You don't need hair, I love you "bare",
Yul Brynner-like and regal!

Hey, imperfect! It's great to see you again!
the maelstrom has passed me by
leaving me with much debris
but now I have the wings to fly
into eternity

Thanks witt. It's been a rough row for me lately. Haven't written at all---
crisscross
What makes Chris cross?
His X upon a paper, white.
If he had been allowed to school,
He would have learned to read and write.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that your rough road will soon be made smooth.
Laundry, laundry everyday
It just about makes me sick
But I'd rather wash the cloth myself
Than toss diapers of plastic!

landfill
we need a place to dump our trash
our cans can't hold it all
the smells just last and last
hold your nose and get out fast

Went to the optometrist
Everything I saw was mist
He fitted me with some new glasses
But he was slow as molasses.

Pock marks on your cheeks
Words stuck on your tongue
Woes of being young
Grown up in a few weeks

I say, "Away with mugs!" Oh, hear my call!
A small cup full of anything is swell.
Express --Oh!-- join with me; let no one quell
Our voice: Refuse to use large cups, at all!
