Just catching up on the thread about Earth Day. I no longer participate in that since I learned that the founder of Earth Day was a whacko murderer. He's the one that murdered that girl (Honey, I think her name was.). He stuffed her body into a trunk and put it in the closet, if I recall. That was the end of it for me. I now celebrate Earth Day everyday and try to take joy from the bounties and the pleasures provided to us.

I am in the process of haveing my poems but into a book, it will a cheap little coffe table type of book and i will be doing most of it myself, if anyone is interested in a copy i would be glad to send them one at my cost wich is only going to be about $5 i dont plan on getting rich off of this lol just wanted to see what my poems would look like in print , if you are interested e-mail me @ [email protected] like i said i dont plan on makeing money but dont want to go in the hole either lol so am just charging what they are gonna cost me.

Oh Happy Day ... sorry the cat just came in -- seems she has ended the life of one of my squirrels that frequent the yard... sighs... Just hate that - I don't mind her being a good mouser but I am really fond of squirrels and watching them play in the yard.

Hope everyone's day is going great - My ISP was down most of the day yesterday - seems to be holding up ok this morning.   I surely missed all of you for Friday's event with Yak being down and then yesterday for all the events with my ISP problems.

Hope all of you are enjoying the beautiful weekend - sighs - I am still lamenting over that squirrel....

That is great, Mynnight. It is a difficult thing to do sometimes to put your soul out there for all to see. Maybe we can exchange books. I have two out. One is all poetry, Musing at La Poulaille. The other contains essays and a few poems about my experiences and love for tatting. TatWitt: What I Learned When I Learned to Tat. (I spent enough time trying to underline the titles of these books. How does this thing work??) I am in the process of editing three books for others. If you have need for an editor, let me know. You can E me anytime.

It's a very RAINY DAY here in the Dallas area!   What a nice opportunity to check out the Splash Boards!    There is soooooo much talent and heart in here.   I truly do love each and every poem that you all share.  (woulda said ya'll, but some of ya are yanks...hehe)

Please keep up the good work that ya'll do! (I can say "ya'll"-- poetic license, you know.)
I still have not been to every forum yet. I am trying, though. I will try to get in as much as possible. Teaching school is a full time-overtime job! And, these computers are about two minutes behind the words that I am typing as I speak!

Everyone, I am writing to let you know that WordWeaver will be out for about a week. His computer crashed and he has ordered a new one from Dell.   He is emailing me from the library!   It has been a bad week for puter troubles it seems!
So keep him in your thoughts please.  He is very grateful for all of your congratulations, etc regarding his poetry picture win.  He misses everyone, and is anxious to return ASAP!
