Words end
« on: August 02, 2017, 03:09 AM »

sadness overcomes her
saki bottle in hand
she bears witness
to your silence

you once described her
as a lush
provocative
Saki-swilling Geisha
with a lot to say
poking and prompting
niggling and nagging her forte

I ache for her sadness
she is fading
slipping
slipping
slowly away

who wants a used muse!

but it’s ok
they’re still bottling saki
and sakura blossoms
will always fall into clever Haiku

I thought she deserved a mention
for her excesses and inconstancies

"who wants a used muse" ... his muse is always welcome to hang around - maybe some of her will rub off on those of us who have lost ours. We can keep some saki and sakura blossoms around for her.

So deep and beautiful sis.   I feel your profound sadness here.  It's the first poetry I've read since hearing of g's passing.  It meant something to me.  You were his angel on earth, and now he is yours in heaven.  Much love to you.
I felt it shelter to speak to you  ~Emily Dickinson

Hey elise, thank you! It's so good to hear from your, it's been way too long. I did receive
your Christmas card by the way, again thank you.

There are so many things running around in my head about G. I'm sad and glad his struggle
is over. He has battled on too many fronts for too long. Peace and relief and unconditional
love to him in Heaven.

Hugs and love to you too, B

Nice thought, daisy!  *hug*
