What do you see in this picture?  Does it inspire you?  Look beyond, or stay within … share with us your interpretation.  I'll post my take on it later tonight

Such a beautiful picture and I don't feel like I did it justice.  Here is my view … definitely needs work! It's late, proper punctuation is also missing.

You know what they say about birds of a feather
they rendezvous, they stick together
whether face value, or hiding in sight
they flock together, both day and night
to shield you from the world at hand
until you're ready to take your stand.
together the birds, they weave their wares
a security blanket to soften the stares
a shroud to encase the depth of your soul,
this mask will shelter and keep you whole
when the day arrives and your armor falls
these birds of a feather will fly away all
until such time as they need the mask
and the birds return to achieve their task.

 Well done daisy!
I concentrated more on the dove in the light, no punctuation either; but I hardly ever punctuate!

in the chaos and turmoil
of what looks like real life
there resides in the hearts
of some
something more than
the false presumption
that that’s all there is
look to the light
beyond the outward gloss
Be careful of your thoughts; they may become words at any moment.  ~  Ira Gassen

There was a young girl from Bellaire
who caught a mixed flock in her hair

Her mother told her twice
that her hair wasn't nice
and would attract flying things of the air
