Kanye West-Jesus Walks Lyrics

God has fallen silent
lost in some delusion of grandeur
while we sit gawking;
left to our own poorly designed devices
somewhere between
the new Pope’s Twitter absolutions,
a cellophane-wrapped Virgin Mary bobble head,
and the old homeless vet on the corner
singing Jesus Walks from his wheelchair...
I believe in making the world safe for our children, but not for our children's children, because I don't think children should be having sex.

signs of the times sometimes seem to take us backwards - border or cross that line of respect - but He isn't silent, we just have to listen harder, and find our step --- well written G, I do like this (on the music video: I'm not a fan of Kanye West - though it was a pretty good pairing for the poem)
