daisy and elise, you have awesome imaginations!  :sunny

star - scar - tsar - bizarre - cigar - bazaar - guitar

smoking a cigar
in the bazaar
the tsar
hid his bizarre scar
behind his guitar
a star in the making.

coquette-barrette- corvette-Collette- toilette- towelette- Georgette

There was a coquette named Collette
Who went to the mall with Georgette

She bought a barrette
Left in her corvette

And left a towelette
in the toilette
 *hehe*

I hate to admit it, elise, but I found this quite difficult.

reason - treason - mid-season - cohesion - legion - heathens - overeaten - repletion

after losing all reason
politicians embroiled
in treason mid-season
ignored cohesion
became a legion
of heathens
who had overeaten
beyond repletion.

She got the urge to splurge
So with George she did converge
After all  the shelves they did purge
She  got the achy feet scourge!

 *clap* love it, elise!

balance - absence - malice - palace - talent - gallon
- gallant - prudence - challenge - brilliance - guidance

the absence
of talent
gave rise to malice
from the palace
caused a challenge
by the princess
with a brilliance of
emotional balance hidden
under a ten gallon hat
she wore with prudence
willing to give guidance
very sure of her gallant self.

edit: takes a teensy little bow cos of what, elise, said. Thanks, e!

fountain - mountain - badminton - captain - villain - bargain - complain - birdbrain - train - sane

the captain
of the badminton team   <--- wonders about badminton?
was a villain
who struck a bargain
with a birdbrain
to find the
fountain of youth
he was certain no one
would complain if they
used club money to buy
tickets for the train-
perhaps he was not sane.

Ugh Halo sis, I think we need to change the name of this game to "Rhyme THIS if you can!"  Haha
 :tongue

persimmon-apparition-Solomon-backgammon-permission-cinnamon-resummon-pokemon-uncommon-Mormon-summon-someone-gammon

I saw an apparition
of my friend Solomon
playing backgammon
Under the persimmon tree

He gave me permission
To eat one with cinnamon
When I heard him resummon
To view his cards of pokemon

You might say it’s uncommon
For a Mormon to summon
a slumbering someone
while enjoying some gammon

I think you both need an award!!!   :poet  I love the transition --- go back to page 1 and read all of the posts.  It's amazing how the words have evolved.

There once was a man in a bubble
Who kept his room in a rubble
It caused him such trouble
To shave off his stubble
That efforts to clean up did double
