i've been playing around with handwritten stuff--entranced by the idea, not sure about the execution.

too much handwritten material? too little? break it up with printed text more?

also, i considered typing right onto the handwritten, overlapping. i feel like it needs more variation, but i'm not sure.

very interesting read .... I really enjoyed the shape of the lightning strike - and the face, although I tried to read it and my mind shut it out quickly.  This seems to be a very creative exercise though - I can see how your mind can go quickly from one piece to another.
