Plentitude Of Emptiness

In a rare moment of clarity, I realize
it has taken near a half century
to find myself in the Now and Here of
Nowhere.

overhead
a single cloud drifts
within the blue.
I believe in making the world safe for our children, but not for our children's children, because I don't think children should be having sex.

I really like this:

In a rare moment of clarity, I realize
it has taken near a half century
to find myself

I think it took me longer than that!!

Almost air—
this red flower within,
contrary beauty
surrounding ice
to throb hot
your leaves
to black spot.

Remember—
eat steel.

I was thinking a rose, but, eat steel... that threw me right off.  Curious little piece this! :)

The rose isn't a rose at all.  It's cancer.

October 8Th

have you ever experienced
a single minute moment
when Heaven opened-
the veil was drawn back
and the presence of God
rained down like honey
undeserved
unrestrained
pure
forgiving
cleansing
healing
soothing
covering you with His peace
where words failed
and His presence was all?

Very nice!

Isn't it wonderful when you have that moment? That peek into grace?
