Plentitude Of Emptiness

In a rare moment of clarity, I realize
it has taken near a half century
to find myself in the Now and Here of
Nowhere.

Almost air—
this red flower within,
contrary beauty
surrounding ice
to throb hot
your leaves
to black spot.

I was thinking a rose, but, eat steel... that threw me right off.  Curious little piece this! :)

and the presence of God

undeserved
unrestrained

forgiving
cleansing
healing

covering you with His peace
