Fool's gold fun poetry
« on: April 01, 2012, 05:00 AM »
Write some dribble and post it here.
It's fool's day, so play away!
silent auction of the heart
heat my bed
or so i'm told.
what's with this touch?
hunt and peck I always say.
soon tuppence is spent on stake marmilade,
and I've made my bed
there it is again
that same word as before
noon i saw see.
we wee down hill
in silent storms of rage
why play the piper?
I never new just what i did
when you did those things you did.
fish
grown
scales
of
multiplication tables under dead skies.

Oh yes!  Bring on the Fool's gold fun poetry!  And not just on April Fools, because some of us are fools  :tongue ... and every day.  :kool
I may dabble in here extensively!

Ode to my proboscis

Ode to my proboscis
Oh how it gets stuck in
To everybody's business
Nosy nosy thing!
"I stood unwound beneath the skies
And clouds unbound by laws
The cryin' rain like a trumpet sang
And asked for no applause" Bob Dylan

Hi, Cipra, you are most welcome.  One thing about a laugh, they're great to get and great to give.

I am frankly surprised that there aren't more fools in here fooling around with the Fool's gold of fun poetry run!

Ah well.  Each to our own.  Let's keep panning!  :sunny
