Topic: My photography

[Halo]

Thanks Daisy, for setting this up for me.  Now what the heck do I do with it! 


Actually I do have and idea what I would like to do here. Post photos of my home town,
Melbourne, other places I visit, and some of my 'arty' photos. Maybe a favorite poem of
mine or a favorite from another poet.


The Eureka Tower is the tall building in this shot taken while crossing the Bolte Bridge. It's okay
I wasn't driving. 



When the sun shines at the correct angle on the top of this building that big square is colored gold.
Obviously my timing was out

Melbourne looks like it's a nice place.  I love the architechture of the buildings.  I also love the lily pond, very pretty.  Can't wait to see more - it may be the closest I ever get to Oz, although it's on my list of the places I'd love to visit.

Thanks for posting those pictures Halo, really enjoyed them and is always good to see pictures of for me far away places, so I can have a little bit of an idea how it looks like!

I have to agree, the lily pond is beautiful, and to me a touch of Egyptian mystic with the papyrus growing in it...

I do hope to see more pictures for sure!

Thanks Dutch, pleased you enjoyed them. I posted these in a bit of a rush, forgetting I had to upload them to Photobucket first. I will
take more time with the next group of photos. And it's true, posting photos here gives us all a chance to see what it's like in places
we may never get to see for ourselves.
