When it rains it pours!  Our own Earl (Afriend) is in the hospital with a kidney and blood infection.
He is recovering, and expected to go home soon, but it's been a rough time for him.  Please keep
him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

I most certainly will dear Elise. It rains upon the just and the unjust alike...and though we may all get wet...we shall not drown as we stand in the shadow of God's Love and healing promise.

         ***Update***

Earl is home. He just escaped having to have home health care. He is trained to use the devices himself. He will be under at a minimun of 12 days afte which he is facing more procedures. His spirits are high.

Thanks for all of the well wishes. I copied all of them and will see that he gets them. I will post any reply that he has.

I thank all of you for your positive thoughts, prayers and well wishes. Its good for the spirit when you know people care.

I'm on the mend, but still have a way to go. I've been stuck, prodded, stripped, xrayed, taken meds, turned in every direction, and cut on enough to last a life time. Three more procedures in the immediate future and one in the spring to go. I wonder if they can give me a bionic brain while they're at it??
Nah.


I'll get back to posting soon. My computer crashed and I lost all my short cuts, so I have to build a data base again.

Thanks everyone for the well wises.
Bill, writing get well verses for me is habit forming. Nice verse, but I'm going to try to break this sugery/illnes trend.

I'm feeling more like myself than I have in months. Doc's follow up on the 15th, but right now I feel great. No pain, no meds.
And a bonus...I've gone back to just having a faulty old man memory instead of a illness induced memory. Go figure, I'm braggin' on an old man's memory.
