6.6.09 - journal entry
« on: June 06, 2009, 02:00 PM »
tomorrow,
i shall burst into a million dewdrops
on a thousand rosebuds.
will that slake your thirst
or will you leave, smiling,
sated by the shimmering rainbows
in my being?

tonight,
i am myself,
a bumblebee on a chrysanthemum,
jolly in my solitude
and cozy in a flower.
i lean on the night a minute,
wishing to be here for a while longer.
Life isn't about waiting for the storms to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Witt, glad you enjoyed this one.

I'm getting ready to leave home again. Soon and soon. Seven days more. I don't think I'll ever be ready to leave until a week after I've gone.

Big Hugs.

Arti ~ I think this is exactly the place where I have wished you to be.  A duality of extreme centeredness: One in which you are as comfortable being alone in the center; as you are moving the tentacles of your essence outwards, while still retaining the connection with your center.

An action promulgated out of desperation will inevitably end in tragedy; for as its anagram so aptly foretells:  A rope ends it.

We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started...and know the place for the first time. ~ T. S. Eliot

in silence,
a budding rose between
earth and moon

Thank you, Arti. This will serve as inspiration for a multitude of verse.
I shall read and read again. G.

Allen, thanks for caring and for your wonderful words. You've expressed the aim of this better than I ever could.  :)

G, always nice to inspire your work... :) I hope to see you again often.
