Excellent Haiga, Voo. Hai from Haiku and ga, Japanese for painting. The accompanying photos/paintings are related to the poems, or simply compliment them.

Cookie,
your title choice is unique, at least I've
not ever heard it put that way before; also a great play on words,
The dragonfly is almost becoming cliche in poetry,
even Haiku. This is different.
Nice, with or without the photo, but the photo does
add much.  I did want more of a connection between man
and the whole experience. But I enjoyed. Even with
the warning to post the reply. I thought, be brave,
reese, be brave. Thanks for the read.

Hi, Reese.. welcome to Splashhall!  :rose

Thanks for your lovely comment...

Damselflies are so much more colorful than dragonflies.. at least they are in the midwest usa!

Your light critique is noted and appreciated!

you know I did not google that. Now I see, even better.
I did carry off into a light critique and hadn't realized. Glad you didn't mind.
It's a habit. Glad to learn about this damselfly.  :rose

Glorious verse, indeed! You create a vivid picture in so few words. Well done, Voodoo!
A famous Voodoo Child named Jimi Hendrix sang, "...if we travel there by DRAGONFLY" in his song "Spanish Castle Magic."

Thanks, Rach, Frag and Mystical12 for viewing and commenting! I thought this haiku 'died' a while back.. Thanks for giving it new life!

Mystical12, Jimi was the reason I chose this user name.. I'm kind of a Voodoo Child, too..
