It's nice to finally be able to reveal myself in public without the threat of arrest.  :tongue  :blusmoke

It is only fitting that I should give credit where credit is due. You, Sir, are well credited in my book.

I am touched (Some say I have always been so) by your marvelous comments on my behalf.

The joy of one's laughter is a currency well spent, indeed.

I'm sure someone noteworthy at some celebrated moment in the distant historical record of a great nation said the same once...but I'll be damned if I can recall who. So, if anyone bothers to ask, we'll just say I did...now. Don't worry, it'll be our lil secret. I won't tell if you don't.

You'll have to thank Ol' Softy for this one. It was all her idea, and that's just what I'll swear in court when they come to cart me away.  :blusmoke

So very pleased to meet you Mystic! Your comments are genuine, off-the-wall and a great pleasure to read. Your poetry as well.

Thank you, Linda. It's nice to be met. I'm pleased you enjoy my musing. Though I'd prefer to think of my comments as on the wall. Rather similar to the psychedelic wall paper plastering Timothy Leary's office, studded with minute dots of Albert Hofman's Lysergic acid diethylamide. The more you contemplate it, the more truth you find in yourself. Okay, you're right. I admit a few of my veiws may be a bit far out, but so is Dr. Leary. Mystic Maestro,

You are a Legend of the Mind

Along the coast youll hear them boast
About a light they say that shines so clear.
So raise your glass, well drink a toast
To the little man who sells you thrills along the pier.

P.S  Timothy Leary is not dead.....No, no, no, no, hes outside looking in.

       Hunter Thompson was shot out of a cannon 4 hours away from me. I couldnt be there but I lit a bottle rocket. The kids got a thrill, and I closed my eyes and sung paint by number taps

The Doors of one's mind,
always locked with purpose.
But which?
To keep you out...
or perhaps,
to keep some thing in?

The real trick
is remembering
where you left the key.

I think the muses have a special place that they run off to from time to time .... but, with or without -- it's very nice to meet you, G.

As my muse is now on her yearly sabbatical; ensconced somewhere deep in the mists, no doubt composing grand works she may share simply to make me jealous.  I'll allow a greater poet than myself to speak:

To The Daisy

William Wordsworth

In youth from rock to rock I went,
From hill to hill in discontent

Of pleasure high and turbulent,
Most pleased when most uneasy;
But now my own delights I make, -
My thirst at every rill can slake,
And gladly Nature's love partake
Of Thee, sweet Daisy...

In shoals and bands, a morrice train,
Thou greet'st the traveller in the lane,
Pleased at his greeting thee again;
Yet nothing daunted,
Nor grieved, if thou be set at nought:
And oft alone in nooks remote
We meet
thee, like a pleasant thought,
When such are wanted.

Be violets in their secret mews
The flowers the wanton Zephyrs choose;
Proud be the rose, with rains and dews
Her head impearling;
Thou liv'st with less ambitious aim,
Yet hast not gone without thy fame;
Thou art indeed by many a claim
The Poet's darling...

Welcome 'G'
Loved the interview, especially the part of your love of history.  We share a kinship in that.
