Loving and Living
« on: April 21, 2008, 10:58 PM »

*****************
I would love to live
and live to love.
To feel and touch
or touch to feel.
If only to live
so I could love.
If only to love
so I could…
live.

I want to..live.

O Dia, ba mhaith go beo.
Chomh sean leis an cheo agus níos sine faoi dhó.

I like this one, Merlin. The yearning is palpable.

Hmm "palpable".

That...is what I wish to experience in these last sevn or eight months.

The palpable sense of living.

Thank you..for the word.

I can relate to this poem, to live life without love isn't living in my opinion. April's the month of heartache and May, that of renewal of love. Although, I'm still waiting on that renewal to kick in. Good poem I enjoyed reading this, thanks for sharing.

It's always when you want to have something so bad and you appreciate it more that it is taken away from you. Your poem is lovely but sad, thanks for sharing it.
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul
William Henley
